Deckchair AI has launched Birthday Club, a white-label birthday pre-order system that helps takeaway owners capture larger, prepaid direct orders while reducing reliance on high-commission delivery apps.
The system allows takeaways to promote birthday party orders, take payment 48 hours in advance, and build repeat annual customer relationships under their own brand.
Deckchair AI's research found that Just Eat and Uber Eats already operate in parts of the pre-order market, but do not offer a dedicated birthday-order system for local takeaways. The opportunity is inspired by Moonpig, founded by Nick Jenkins, which built a business around birthday reminders and repeat gifting.
