That Prints £3K–£10K/Month in Predictable B2B Catering Revenue
(Even If You’ve Never Sold to a Single Office Before)
By Neil Murphy — The Takeaway Teacher
The 10-Point Checklist
Step 01
Explain how offices waste 2 hours/week on lunch chaos and position your restaurant as the solution. No sales pitch — just value. You become the local authority on feeding teams.
Step 02
[YourWebsite.com/office-lunch] with the podcast embedded, a menu preview, and a simple "Book 10-Min Call" button. One page, one job: get the call booked.
Step 03
Target local offices with 10–200 employees using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Google Maps, or manual research. Focus on a tight 5-mile delivery radius — close enough to deliver hot, on time.
Step 04
Send over 14 days: Problem Awareness → Social Proof → Objection Handler → Differentiator → Limited Offer → Breakup. Each email earns the next. No batch-and-blast — this is a campaign.
Step 05
Cap at 10 companies only. Create urgency with "7 spots left" messaging, and require a 10-minute qualification call to book. Scarcity makes them move.
Step 06
One menu link sent at 9am. Orders lock at 10:30am. Delivery at 12:15pm sharp. One monthly invoice. Use Google Forms, Typeform, or a proper ordering platform — never chase orders by hand.
Step 07
Send the menu link, a dietary requirements form, delivery instructions, and your direct phone number for same-day issues. Make week one feel effortless and you earn the repeat.
Step 08
Deliver flawlessly in week one. Then present monthly pricing (£10–14/head for hot meals) with a case study showing the time and money saved. The trial sells the retainer.
Step 09
Maintain quality, create scarcity ("only 3 spots left this month"), and raise prices as demand grows. A full book is leverage — never a reason to dilute the product.
Step 10
Once you hit 15 clients, hire a part-time salesperson to run the same funnel — or open a second location and repeat the process. The system, not you, is the asset.
Bonus
“We only work with 15 offices at a time. Current availability: 5 spots. Book your trial before we’re full → [link]”
Scarcity, clarity, and a single call to action. That PS has closed more office catering contracts than any discount ever will.
